My girlfriend junior year of high school broke up with me because she did not want to miss the finale of Golden Girls.  Looking back now, I can't really be angry.

My best friend had just passed away and my then boyfriend broke up with me on the day of the funeral because me asking him for his support was “too much too quickly”. My best friend never liked him anyways.

We went to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and while standing in front of Van Gogh’s Sunflowers he asked me if it was the real one. I was confused at first and then he clarified that he thought the museum was full of posters of famous paintings. This was a thirty eight year old man that didn’t understand museums. Nope. Bye.

I broke up with a guy because he chewed his food too loudly and it annoyed the shit out of me.

He wore sandals in the winter unless he was going to work, and it gets like 15 degrees where I live. He had lots of other shoes, he said he wore them just because it was easier. Not once or twice but all the time. Three things occurred to me 1: He's an idiot and 2: His feet were really weird looking and 3: it made him seem really lazy.

He had the same name as my Dad. I could deal with it for awhile, but when he started calling me Sweetheart, which my Dad calls me, it just got too weird.

I found out he'd been in a one hit wonder naughties pop punk band... I googled him and found fanfiction some thirsty fan had written about him and his band mates. I literally couldn't talk to him without hearing it in my head and laughing, thought it best to just go our separate ways after that. So... Broke up with someone because of fanfic.

I broke up with a guy once after dating for a couple of months because He Wrote All Of His Text Messages With A Capital Letter At The Start Of Each Word and I just couldn’t take it anymore. 

I don’t know why it gave me the ick but it REALLY gave me the ick. He was 39…

This guy on a dating app completely dismissed me because a place I had brunch at one time wasn't pretentious enough for him. I dodged a bullet if restaurants are how he judges people 😄

Wearing head-to-toe leather on our first and only date in a very humid country. I was so embarrassed I told him I don’t talk in the subway train and listened to my music pretending to not know him.
