Magma is underground. But when a volcano erupts, then that magma _becomes_ lava. Because magma is still under the earth, it stays very hot. Lava cools down and eventually solidifies when it is exposed to air, water, or other things above the ground.

The answer is magma!

Let's start with a volcano question. What's the word for the molten rock goo that's found underground?

Oceania refers to the continent that includes Australia, Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia. Throughout Oceania, there are several different biomes like grasslands and savanna.

Scientists will closely watch a species' population numbers over at least three generations of that species' lifespan. Scientists may determine that a species is endangered if its population has dwindled significantly. When scientists and conservationists notice endangered animals, they try to help protect those animals so the species can continue to survive for future generations.

Most plants don't need to eat other organisms to survive. Plants can power up with carbon dioxide, water, and light. Through photosynthesis, the plants turn water into oxygen (great news for organisms like humans that breathe oxygen) and glucose.

Thanks to the pulley, you don't have to break your back to lift heavy objects. The pulley has helped humans build bigger buildings (and cities) throughout history.
