But even as much as I love spending time in the kitchen and playing around with new recipes, there are still moments when the thought of grocery shopping or making dinner stresses me out. Here are some golden rules of home cooking that I try to follow, which make the whole process more affordable, less time-consuming, and actually enjoyable.

    1. Make a tentative meal plan at the beginning of the week.
