Steve Harrington from Stranger Things developed from a bitchy and jealous player to a total life saving dad like person. He showed great development throughout the show.

Chandler’s development in Friends is so underrated. First of all he is and will always be the best charactef of the tv show. But it’s incredible how he got happily married to his best friend with kids when he was afraid of commitment. Everytime I watch Friends I feel like he deserves way more recognition.

April Ludgate from Parks and Recreation.

She starts as the very un-friendly intern who is just there to cause trouble. But as the series progresses, she starts to find herself and figure out the things she's passionate about. What's awesome is that even as she grows and starts becoming more responsible and starts showing that she does care about people, she also is still pretty cold and distant. It's such a cool progression of finding herself while not compromising who she is. By the finale she's this really confident, badass woman.

Jake Peralta from B99 started off as a stubborn man-child who is in crippling debt and always think he’s right, to someone that always has his friends back, a really REALLY great boyfriend, and a responsible cop that saves money!

Steve Harrington is a prime example of this. The writers really delved into his character and created something wonderful. It would have been SO EASY to keep him as the douche-y, unsuitable and ridiculous boyfriend but he became a flawed yet caring and kick-ass guy. Team Steve.

Jake Peralta from Brooklyn nine-nine. In season one he does everything to annoy his captain, is really immature and doesn’t care about anything apart from solving cases. Season 5 he does everything to earn his captains respect, has a wife, helps his colleagues with their personal lives and literally is the most adorable human in tv ❤️?

Jake Peralta from Brooklyn Nine-Nine. He started off season 1 incredibly immature-he couldn’t keep a girlfriend and he was in crippling debt. By the end of season 5, he’s in a very equal relationship, he’s actually saving money and he’s grown so much emotionally as well. He was kind of annoying to begin with but he’s such a lovable character now!

Chandler Bing. Oh yes, absolutely. From a terrified man who wouldn't commit to a man who fought for the woman he loved. All without losing his funny bone.

Steve from strangers things. He was such an unlikeable arrogant jerk in the first season. Second season he turned into such a selfless love-able parent figure.

Leslie Knope from Parks and Recreation! She went from being portrayed as crazy, silly and a kind of dumb parks worker to being a badass federal government worker, mom, wife, and all around force to be reckoned with. Season 1: kind of unlikeable and clingy. Season 3 and on: demands respect, dedicates her life to helping the city that make fun of her, and strives to do what is right, even when it is hard or embarrassing.
